St. Moritz, district of the Engadina, belonging to Canton Grigioni in Switzerland, is a renowned mountain destination in the region of Maloja. St. Moritz, extremely famous for its winter holidays on the snow, the stunning landscapes, its excellent quality in hospitality and the presence of international and VIP guests, is also an important destination in summer (and during the whole year, though) for those who love spending mountains holidays doing open-air sports and activities, like trekking, mountain biking and hiking excursions. And for those who prefer something more relaxing, there are many opportunities like discovering the history and the culture of the villages and places, or local traditional cooking.
Among the most interesting museums to visit, there is one recently renovated, dedicated to the painter Giovanni Segantini.
St. Moritz is easily reachable by car or by train with the Bernina Express (Trenino Rosso del Bernina), and also thanks to Autostradale coach connection that leaves from Milan, at Lampugnano bus station terminal - close to the metro station, and goes to St. Moritz not without making several mid stops in all the tourist towns and villages like Sesto San Giovanni, Monza, Lecco arriving then at the pass of Majola.
